1% of Something - the drama that is more than enough

As you know I’m a romantic person, and as a romantic person I like cute and melodramatic romances… This is one of them, I really liked this one. I’m a bit afraid because in all my posts I’m saying that the dramas are good, they I have liked them… Maybe all Korean dramas are good or I’m lucky and just chose the good ones.

However let’s talk about the drama… It’s about a rich man, Lee Jae In, that is running his own business, a fancy hotel, but his grandfather is an extremely rich man and in his will he says that all his money is going to be to the person who marries Kim Da Hyun, an unknown kind teacher. Now you can imagine what happen next, they are going to sign a contract to date for 6 months, but will they survive 6 months together?! They have opposite personalities and hearts…

Ha Suk Jin and Jun So Min were extremely good, their characters were well played and I would like to see them again in a different drama…

Something extremely funny with dramas is that the rich guy is always handsome and young… well, maybe it happens in Korea because around here rich men are mostly ugly and old and with a huge belly and… aigo! It’s extremely convenient a rich and sexy man like the ones in Korean dramas.

Anyway… I totally recommend this drama, each episode is about 30 or 40 minutes, it’s not that long, so you can finish it very fast and start a new drama again!

Arang and the Magistrate - a drama from another world

I must confess that I have just watched Arang and the Magistrate for one reason, to check if Shin Min Ah was my number 1 actress or not. Since I saw her in So Ji Sub’s drama “Oh My Venus”, I fell in love with her, however I wasn’t sure if it was because she is a great actress or because she was working with So Ji Sub (it’s almost impossible something don’t be better just because So Ji Sub is there).

Unfortunately the second option is right, she isn’t that incredible, please, don’t misunderstand me, she is a fantastic professional, but she’s not my number 1. Maybe my number 2 now… The number 1 is  Park Shinhye.

Ok… about the drama! Arang and the Magistrate is a historical drama about a ghost that asks the Magistrate’s help to solve her death mystery and find her murder. The Magistrate is looking for his missing mother and just agrees to help her because maybe her memories can lead him to find out what happened with his mother.

It’s a cute drama with many fictional elements and dark mysteries, it’s a great option for someone looking for a light and funny drama, with a lot of action and mystery.

It’s the second drama I watched with Lee Joon Gi, coincidentally both are historical dramas and he was amazing in both of them. He plays his role with excellency and in the actions scenes he was good (I could see that the elaborate movements wasn’t him, but that’s ok anyway).

Shin Min Ah was good in this drama too, she is cute and talented (even not being my number 1). She played a ghost and was part of some action scenes too, the perfect balance between kindness and brutality. And I must add that she is really beautiful, one of the most beautiful actresses I have ever seen (you can see it in this photo).

This drama will surprise you… because I’m sure you will be expecting them to be together, but they won’t (spoiler alert!!!). However the end of it is fantastic! Have a great time watching it!!!

Heirs - a rich drama that worths your time

I must confess that I started watching this drama because I like the actress … and once again she didn’t disappointed me, she was incredible in this drama and I meet another great actor.

The story goes around Kim Tan, a rich boy from a powerful family and Cha Eun Sang, the daughter of the housekeeper, a common and boring story? No way! Their path crossed far away from Korea, in the USA and their story keeps going in Korea. This drama shows the differences based in how much money do you have and your family connections in a realistic way that makes you think how crazy rich people are and how troubled their lives can be too.

Lee Min Ho is awesome as the principal actor, with many family issues and dramatic scenes, and let’s be honest, he is so cute that it’s almost a crime. He is so young and so talented, I will keep an eye on him for future dramas, I hope he is going to do a great job as well.

Park Shin Hye is fantastic as a poor and proud girl, she can make you cry and laugh so easily. I have seen her in different dramas as Pinocchio and she is awesome in all them! I am a big fan of her work… and she is really beautiful too (I envy her… actually me and 90% of Korean girls ^^).

So… Looking for something more dramatic and serious, that will make you think and feel… Here is your drama! Have fun and tell me what was your impression on it!

K2 – an action/spy drama

I’m a girl and I must confess that there are just few action dramas and movies that caught my interest, K2 is officially in this list. It is a political drama with a lot of punches and kicks, blood and bullets, and finally a cute love story.

The story is really complex, but just to make it simple to you there is a hot ex-agent of the secret service Kim Je Ha (Ji Chang Wook) that by accident meets Go An Na (Im Yoon Ah), he didn’t help her at the time and many years later her paths cross again when he tries to kill Choi Yoo Jin (Song Yoon Ah), the wife of the candidate to Presidente of Korea. He starts working with Choi Yoo Jin (Song Yoon Ah) because he is looking for revenge and the things get more and more complicated and romantic too…

It is interesting how politics are portrayed in this drama, they do not try to smooth this or make it more cute to the audience, they show how some politicians are rotten and corrupt. And of course there are a lot of fight scenes and shirtless parts that make it even better.

Another interesting fact is that Kim Je Ha is made of indestructible steal, because nothing can stop him! Bullets, knifes, puches or bombs are not enough, but to be honest, with a handsome face like his, nothing can get to him. He is like 007, but a Korean version (a better version in some people’s opinion).

The first time I saw Ji Chang Wook was in another action drama called Healer, he was fantastic there and it didn’t change in this particular drama, he is awesome! He can fight very well or maybe the editions in the episodes are really good, the fact is that he is really good in action scenes (and in shirtless scenes too). I’m not kidding, in this drama there are some “stronge” scenes where you can see great abs (or just close your eyes if you have a weak heart like me).

I have never seen Im Yoon Ah in another drama, she was pretty good in this one, interpret a person with many traumatic issues can be very hard, but she was more than perfect. I hope I can see her in more dramas like that.

So, if you like the mix of romance and drama, happiness and sadness, welcome to one of the best action dramas I have ever seen (actually I just watched 2 or 3 action dramas, it’s not that much). So, have fun with that.
