My Love from Another Star - a drama from another world

This is a drama of a handsome alien, Do Min Joon, that will fall in love for a beautiful but crazy girl, Cheon Song Yi, and of course, their love seems impossible. Her best friend Yoo Se Mi is not so her friend as she thought and there is a rich man, Lee Hee Kyung, that loves her a lot but Cheon Song Yi doesn’t love him back… and that’s just crazy, how can she doesn’t love someone so caring, handsome and extremely rich?! Just crazy!!

I thought it could be a great drama and I was a bit mistaken… it’s just good, not great. You ask me why?! Because I didn’t like the end of it… I wonder if they have no imagination for a best end, I’m sure had an incredible idea how to finish it. I ask myself if I should apply for a position as a drama writer… does it pay well?!

Anyway, it’s a good drama from the beginning to almost the end of the last episode, but if you haven’t watched it I suggest you spare some time to watch it. Now about the actors!

Kim Soo Hyun was pretty cold playing a cold alien and he made so many dramatic scenes that I almost cried with him (well, I cried a bit). He isn’t just handsome, but very talented, however I don’t remember him playing another drama, such a shame…

Jeon Ji Hyun was fantastic playing the arrogant and crazy actress, and when time came she was very good playing the hurt and depressed lover. The only thing that bothered me a little is that she was to slim, I don’t like this beauty standard, it’s so difficult be that slim naturally (believe me, I know it).

Park Hae Jin played the cute, naïve and rich guy, he was pretty good too and his face is kind of familiar, maybe I have seen him in another drama but I don’t recall that now. The thing is that I liked him in this drama.

Yoo In Na is wonderful in this drama and she is staring another famous drama at the moment called Goblin, she is in love with the grim raper. When I saw her for the first time the first thing that caught my attention was her lips, she is like the Korean Angelina Jolie.

Well, that’s it… a pretty good drama to watch (just don’t expect much from the end…).

Heirs - a rich drama that worths your time

I must confess that I started watching this drama because I like the actress … and once again she didn’t disappointed me, she was incredible in this drama and I meet another great actor.

The story goes around Kim Tan, a rich boy from a powerful family and Cha Eun Sang, the daughter of the housekeeper, a common and boring story? No way! Their path crossed far away from Korea, in the USA and their story keeps going in Korea. This drama shows the differences based in how much money do you have and your family connections in a realistic way that makes you think how crazy rich people are and how troubled their lives can be too.

Lee Min Ho is awesome as the principal actor, with many family issues and dramatic scenes, and let’s be honest, he is so cute that it’s almost a crime. He is so young and so talented, I will keep an eye on him for future dramas, I hope he is going to do a great job as well.

Park Shin Hye is fantastic as a poor and proud girl, she can make you cry and laugh so easily. I have seen her in different dramas as Pinocchio and she is awesome in all them! I am a big fan of her work… and she is really beautiful too (I envy her… actually me and 90% of Korean girls ^^).

So… Looking for something more dramatic and serious, that will make you think and feel… Here is your drama! Have fun and tell me what was your impression on it!

Personal Taste - my kind of drama

Just 16 episodes with about an hour each looked like a great option for my “weekend drama project” and once again I wasn't wrong, actually I'm always so right that it doesn't surprise me anymore. This drama is a romantic comedy, the way I like, but there are so many traumatic situations and personal issues that made it be even better…

The story goes around Jeon Jin Ho, a handsome and talented architect that is trying to win a competition for an amazing project, however to achieve his goal he has to rent a room in a house built for a famous architect and live there with the architect's daughter, Park Kae In. The daughter is unbelievable kind and she trusts anyone, the result of it is a broken heart and a damaged auto confidence after be betrayed by her boyfriend and her friend.

Park Kae In is so air headed that she believes he is gay and in exchange for the permission to live there, he allows her to believe in that lie. But things will get more and more complicated while they keep living there and their hearts will change… Can they be together, even when everything and everyone conspires against it?!

My first impression about Lee Min Ho was… oh my gosh, he is tall, my second was… wow, he is handsome and after the last episode I was impressed with his acting skills. Lee Min Ho played a young and methodic architect that was looking for success and found love instead, I almost died with him when he was struggling with his problems and laughed when he did. Great job.

My first impression on Son Ye Jin wasn't that positive, I was comparing her with different actresses from other dramas, she wasn't very pretty (the traditional korean beauty), however during the drama I understood that it was part of the character and to hide her natural beauty was just part of her job. Son Ye Jin isn't just beautiful, but very talented too, I was touched with her crying scenes and how she could be so cute sometimes… great job too!!!

Aaaaaahhhhhhh… I must talk about a kiss scene that I saw there!! It was sooooo cute that I thought I could die… in that moment I thought: “now I understand the reason I was born, it was just to see this kiss scene”. Watch this drama and I'm sure you will know about what I'm saying.

Well, that's it… a great option to watch alone but a better option to watch with someone else. Have fun!!!

Scarlet Heart: Ryeo - a historical drama

Historical dramas are so nice, the first one I have watched was “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” and then “Splash, Splash Love”, this drama is the third drama I’m watching.

There are two kinds of Historical dramas, the ones based in facts and really dramatic (with a lot of blood and entrails) and the ones based in facts and with more romance. If you have read something I wrote before you know that I’m the romantic kind that prefer the second kind of historical dramas.

Scarlet Heart:Ryeo is part of the first group, with a well written plot, nice clothes and beautiful and talented actors. The story has a romantic touch, but it’s mixed in a lot of violence, betrayal, facts, it’s not a light drama that will make your heart flys, it’s the kind of drama that will make your heart beats so fast and you will be always surprised and afraid of something. This drama it's like the Korean verison of "Game of Thrones", when you start liking a character, it will die!    :/

However it doesn’t mean that it’s bad, actually it’s is really good, it’s so real that when you realize you are addicted to it.

The story goes around Hae Soo (Lee Ji Eun), a girl that is transported to the past during an eclipse, she gets into a princess’ body and met the princes in that time. The whole drama is about their fight for the throne and for her heart, it’s incredible what some of them can do for the power.

Lee Joon Ki is so good being so bad, he is so evil and sweet at the same time that I was confused between love and hate… He plays the 4th prince Wang So, someone with a terrible scar in his face but that in my opinion is handsome anyway. He is fantastic as an actor, maybe because he is very mature…

Lee Ji Eun is one of the most beautiful actresses I have ever seen, as Hae Soo she is perfect even I would fall in love with her (and I am a girl). Her expressions are so realistic that for a second I’m transported to the story and when I realize I’m crying and laughing with her (people around me think I’m crazy… it’s her fault).

Kang Ha Neul is the 8th Prince, a charming type that will melt your heart in the beginning, as an actor I don’t have anything to say, I am speechless with his incredible abilities and his beautiful lips. lol

Hong Jong Hyun played the 3rd Prince Wang Yo, the vilan of the whole story! But I must be honest and admit that he is talented and handsome, he is so good acting that I hate him for real (I’m a bit crazy and can’t separate  reality and fiction sometimes).

There are more princes of course, and they are as handsome as their brother I mentioned before, but you must watch this drama to know them all.

If you like Historical Dramas just like me, it’s a great option of drama… A lot of people are watching it right now and if you are not one of them, hurry up and start it as soon as possible.

High End Crush - an impossible crazy love story

It was my weekend project, a short drama with 20 episodes with about 15 minutes each. Some dramas are really dramatics and dense and sometimes you need a light drama to balance, that’s the case of this drama.

The story goes around an arrogant and rich man that runs an entertainment company, he founds an innocent girl that have lived almost her entire life isolated in the top of a mountain, she is kind and brutal at the same time. He tries to make her become a celebrity but in the process he falls in love for her.

Too stressed? watch it… Very busy? watch it… With a lot of free time? watch it…

Jung Il Woo was amazing as a crazy business man with no soul and feelings, it’s impossible don’t fall in love with him. He is funny too, what is extremely important in a comedy, I liked the transition between emotions, how he could be very comic and then very dramatic.

Jin Se Yun was very nice too, proving that to be a good actress you don’t need to expose your body and overflow sensuality, you can play a naive girl with a lot to show.

So, on Saturday prepare the drama, the popcorn and a good company to what it… Have fun and comment your impression on it!!!

Korean hair and Blangs

Why do Korean girls love bangs that much? I found out the truth!!!! It's because it makes them look much more younger!!! Can you believe it?! If you don't, please watch the video above and understand all this...

It's totally unfair with the rest of us (girls around the world), come on, Korean girls have those cute small eyes and now with a simple hair cut they look younger, innocent and adorable... what's it? Karma? I'd like to be Korean too!!! And about the small eyes... can you believe they don't like it? Seriously... what's wrong with these ladies?! Your small eyes are so unique, they define you and make koreans even more awesome, please, don't try to make it look bigger.

Why do you want big eyes?!
I can't understand...

Now let's get back to the hair... Normally Korean people have straight hair, what is fantastic (I have curly hair and I can assure you that it's not funny), with straight hair you don't even have to brush it, just tie up and go out, it would never happen with curly hair... curly hair needs water to brush, a strong comb, hair creams, patience, magic, etc... and of course, when you finish to fix the curly hair, you can't touch it anymore or it will be destroyed!

As you could see in the video, Korean girls look younger with bangs... what is unfair... so what do you think of stopping using it to make things fair?! After all, Korean girls have cute small eyes, straight hair, lovely bangs and a perfect skin... what is left for the rest of us? mere mortals? lol

Now, let me be serious for a moment... How can someone be
so cute with bangs like that? I always wished bangs like yours, but I couldn't have it... I can't have bangs... I can't have So Ji Sub... Life isn't fair... kkkkkkkk

Look how wonderful it is... I just loved his bangs... (I'm talking about the bangs ladies, just the bangs...)
